While dipping, a fair amount of saliva will need to be expelled so, its a good idea to use dip outdoors or, carry a receptacle you can spit into. Most dippers leave a pinch in for between 45 minutes to a hour and to remove it, you can either just spit the used tobacco out or, for beginners, take your forefinger and just scoop it out from between the lip and gums. It’s recommended that after you remove the dip, to rinse your mouth to remove any small tobacco pieces that may have been left behind. |
