Curing & Fermentation

Once at the factory, the cured tobacco leaves are placed in Oak barrels along with sugar, sweeteners and flavorings and allowed to ferment for up to 2 years. After fermentation is complete, the tobacco leaves are shredded to the right size and either canned or, placed in pouches that are about one gram in size, made from a teabag like material.
